Research and AI Compute Center (RACC)

ThisWay Global Inc. is planning a significant 73MW data center project, named the Research and AI Compute Center (RACC), located at the Texas A&M-Rellis campus in Bryan, Texas. This facility is designed to provide access to advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) and High-Performance Computing (HPC) resources for eligible researchers, public sector entities, and industry users. The data center will be developed in phases on a 25-acre site, subject to necessary approvals. A key feature of the RACC will be its use of closed-loop, direct-to-chip liquid cooling technology. The facility will offer sovereign AI compute capacity, powered by ThisWay Global's Amalgamy.ai software, an orchestration layer. This initiative aligns with their Sovereign Blueprint framework, aiming to foster research and innovation collaboration. The project emphasizes developing AI and HPC digital infrastructure as an accountable, governed institutional capability to support research, innovation, and workforce development in Texas.
