CDC Brooklyn BK2 is a key component of CDC Data Centres' hyperscale digital infrastructure hub located in Brooklyn, Melbourne, Australia. This facility, officially opened in February 2026, is part of a significant $4+ billion investment in Western Melbourne.
The Brooklyn campus is supported by a dedicated, on-site Jemena substation, ensuring robust power delivery. BK2 represents Stage 2 of the campus development, following the completion of BK1 in July 2024. BK1 spans 70,000 m² with a power capacity exceeding 150 MW.
Developed to meet the growing demand for cloud, enterprise, and AI workloads in Victoria, CDC Brooklyn BK2 provides essential and sustainable IT capacity. A third facility, BK3, is also planned for the site, indicating ongoing expansion of this critical digital infrastructure.
