Canoochee River RV Resort Data Center

A new five-building data center campus is proposed in Metter, Georgia, located at 2700 Airport Road on 470 acres of land adjacent to the Metter-Candler Airport. The project, filed by Canoochee River RV Resort, LLC, aims to construct up to 250,000 sq ft of data center space per building, totaling 1.25 million sq ft. Development is planned in phases over a 5-7 year period, with completion targeted for 2033. The proposal includes rezoning the land and the addition of two on-site substations. The data centers will utilize a closed-loop cooling system to minimize water consumption. Candler County officials have voted against a moratorium on data center developments.
