LMD Moskog

Lefdal Mine Datacenter (LMD) is expanding its operations with a second site in Moskog, Førde, Norway. The company has acquired Titan Group AS, taking over a 40-acre development site within Sunnfjord Business Park. LMD plans to invest approximately NOK 9 billion ($938m) over three years in the construction phase, aiming to establish over a hundred jobs and foster local supplier industries. This new facility, located about 120km from LMD's existing data center in Måløy, will leverage the company's expertise in developing and operating large-scale data centers. LMD emphasizes its strategy of utilizing local businesses, citing its success in Nordfjord where 70% of investments went through local suppliers. The project aims to be a regional development driver, building expertise and creating long-term employment opportunities in the Sunnfjord region.
