Kitebrook Børdalen is a large-scale AI and HPC data center campus situated in Børdalen, western Norway. The development is designed to deliver hyperscale infrastructure powered entirely by renewable hydroelectric energy.
The campus spans approximately 48,000 m² of zoned land, supporting a 100 MW gross capacity with an estimated 82.5 MW of IT capacity. It is strategically located adjacent to a 420 kV grid node, with a 100 MW grid reservation underway and conditional supply anticipated from Q1 2029. Børdalen benefits from direct access to multiple hydroelectric generation facilities, ensuring robust energy security and sustainability.
The facility is engineered for chiller-free cooling, accommodating direct liquid cooling for AI workloads. Modular 27.5 MW data halls offer flexible deployment options for hyperscale clients. The site features three diverse fiber routes, deep-water quay logistics, and expansion land, positioning it as a scalable platform for next-generation AI infrastructure in Northern Europe.
