Google Project Spring

Project Spring is a proposed data center development planned for Sand Springs, Oklahoma. The project is currently undergoing a rezoning consideration by the city's planning commission, with a public meeting scheduled for December 3, 2025. The rezoning application pertains to an 827-acre parcel of land located near North Highway 97 and Rock School Road.

While the city council has not yet taken a definitive stance on the proposals, they encourage public participation in the decision-making process. Local community groups, such as the Protect Sand Springs Alliance, have organized to voice opposition to the data center, citing concerns about potential negative impacts on the community. These groups are actively engaging residents and raising funds to support their opposition efforts.
