EdgeConneX Amsterdam - EDCAMS05 is a purpose-built Tier-3 designed data center located at Koolhovenlaan 6, Schiphol-Rijk, The Netherlands. This facility is part of the larger EdgeConneX Amsterdam campus, which is strategically positioned 9km from Schiphol Airport and 24km from downtown Amsterdam, serving as a key gateway to Europe. EDCAMS05 is a 18,116 m2 facility designed to be delivered to customer specifications, with a planned capacity of 46MW N+1. The campus as a whole is power banked for over 100MW and offers a mix of multi-tenant colocation and build-to-suit single tenant facilities. The data center boasts superior operating reliability, high-density power capabilities (capable of 20+kW per cabinet), and carrier-neutral support with diverse fiber conduits from providers like Arelion, Colt Fiber, euNetworks, Lumen, GTT, Interoute, NLIX, Relined, Vodafone Ziggo, and Zayo. Security is multi-layered, including PIN and live video authentication, mantraps, 24/7 CCTV surveillance, and a national network operations center. Fire suppression is handled by pre-action, zoned dry-pipe sprinkler systems. The facility also offers customer workspace, secure storage, WiFi, and cell phone repeaters.
