Sesterce Bosquel

The Bosquel AI data center campus, a joint venture between SoftBank Group and Sesterce, is set to become a 1 GW facility in Bosquel, France. Strategically located in the Hauts-de-France region, it is positioned near major European economic and technology hubs, enabling low-latency service for advanced AI workloads across key markets. The campus combines SoftBank Group's global AI infrastructure platform with Sesterce's data center expertise, focusing on scale, sustainability, and performance for Europe's AI ecosystem. It will employ advanced technologies to minimize environmental impact and water usage. The project aims to bolster France's AI leadership and digital sovereignty by providing world-class compute capacity. Beyond its technological significance, the Bosquel campus includes a €10 million endowment fund for local AI promotion and a community center for engagement, fostering long-term economic and territorial development in the region.
