Arcem Kuhmo

Arcem is planning a data center development in Kuhmo, Finland, within the Mäntymäki industrial area. The company has secured a 60,000 sqm land reservation across two industrial blocks (730 and 731), with 24,000 sqm of building rights.

The facility is expected to require 40MW or more of electricity, with local grid capacity assessments underway. The site is strategically positioned near Nurmestie and Sotkamontie, ensuring strong connectivity. Additionally, a solar power park is planned adjacent to the area, supporting renewable energy integration.

Arcem’s 18-month planning reservation allows for feasibility studies before committing to full-scale development. If the project proceeds, it will enhance regional economic growth, create new jobs, and strengthen Kuhmo’s position as a technology investment hub.
