Helios Iisalmi-Tervamäki

Helios Nordic Energy AB is expanding from solar development into data centers with the planned Helios Iisalmi-Tervamäki campus in Iisalmi, Finland. The project, located in the Tervamäki area, aims to capitalize on Finland's strengths for data center operations, including a safe and predictable environment, a reliable electricity grid, a cool climate, and high-quality telecommunications. The campus could span over 100 hectares and will connect to Fingrid's new Tervamäki substation. This development is expected to bring significant investments and permanent jobs to the Iisalmi and Upper Savo region, positioning Finland as a leader in the growing data center industry. Helios Nordic Energy, founded in 2019 and owned by VINCI Group since 2024, has a strong track record in Nordic solar projects.
