Scale42 Liperi

Scale42 is developing a significant data center campus in Liperi, Finland, located in the Välikangas industrial area. The project is a collaboration between Scale42 and the Municipality of Liperi, with negotiations underway for approximately nine hectares of land. The initial phase of construction is anticipated to commence in early 2027, with plans to deliver 60MW of capacity and an investment of approximately €800 million. This development aims to bolster Scale42's presence in Eastern Finland and contribute to sustainable digital infrastructure and long-term regional economic growth. The site offers advantageous conditions for development, access, and potential expansion, including opportunities for waste heat distribution. Scale42, founded by experts from Fjord Power and Hydrokraft, is committed to establishing multiple data center sites across the Nordics.
