China Unicom Hohhot Yun - DC7 is a significant component of the China Unicom Hohhot Cloud Data Center Campus, located in Hohhot, China. This expansive development, operated by China Unicom, is designed to bolster large-scale computing infrastructure. The campus, situated in Xincheng District, is planned across approximately 273,333 m² and will ultimately feature eight data center buildings (DC1-DC8) with a total planned capacity of 30,000 racks. The later phases, including DC6, DC7, and DC8, contribute an additional 150,000 m² of built-up area and 15,000 racks, each designed for 10 kW capacity. This project aligns with China's strategic initiative of "East Data, West Computing," emphasizing the expansion of data processing and storage capabilities across the nation.
