MTN Yaoundé, located in Yaoundé, Cameroon, is the nation's first and only Uptime Tier III Design Certified data center. This global certification validates that the facility adheres to the highest international standards for design, resilience, and uptime, ensuring uninterrupted operation of critical systems even during maintenance or unexpected events.

The Tier III certification signifies the data center's capability to support planned site infrastructure work without disrupting redundant computer room power and cooling. The facility boasts a total peak IT load capacity of 320 kilowatts (kW), including a 300 kW IT load within the data hall and an additional 20 kW of critical ancillary load powered by the uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
