Prometheus WY-2

Prometheus’ Casper, Wyoming campus is positioned as a hyperscale opportunity up to 1.5GW, anchored by 1.2+ GW of on-site generation delivered in 300MW increments (2027, 2028, 2029, 2030). The power concept is designed for 99.999% reliability via an islanded on-site power solution with a grid interconnection plan, plus an on-site carbon capture pathway and ample land for solar to complement the core thermal buildout. Prometheus has also secured contractual rights to the first 600MW of 99.9% net reliable on-site generation.

On fiber/connectivity, the site’s network design is positioned to meet/exceed hyperscaler network-fabric requirements, with potential connectivity into Lumen’s Private Connectivity Fabric for access to existing and new routes. The flyer highlights sub-10ms latency to several major markets and close proximity to major long-haul fiber trunks, with room for high-capacity strand expansion.

Land-wise, Casper offers ~15,000 total acres with ~250 initial acres designated for power + data center development, featuring large, naturally flat topography and mining-grade earthmoving accessibility; a red-flag report is noted as showing no known wetlands or environmental issues. The site also emphasizes Opportunity Zone benefits (deferral of prior gains and elimination of new gains growth with a 10+ year hold), and a logistics-forward location on I-25 less than 30 minutes from Casper Natrona International Airport, leveraging the region’s industrial/pipeline backbone and heavy-industry labor base.
