Google's Project Loch is a confidential data center development located in Midlothian, Virginia, part of Google's significant infrastructure expansion in the state. The project, executed through Aeris Investments LLC, involves the development of a multibillion-dollar campus on approximately 340 acres. Rezoned specifically for data center use, the site has secured fixed tax agreements for 30 years and includes limitations on noise and water usage. Site plans indicate the development will comprise three buildings and three on-site substations. This initiative is a component of Google's broader $9 billion investment program in Virginia, aimed at bolstering its cloud and AI capabilities. The project is situated near Otterdale Road and Old Hundred Road, west of Route 288 and south of Route 60.
