HOU3 and HOU4 form CyrusOne’s dual-facility data center campus in Houston, Texas, located within the city’s thriving technology corridor. Together, they offer a total of 347,000 square feet of technical space and deliver up to 91 megawatts of critical IT capacity, supporting enterprise, cloud, and hyperscale demands.

HOU3 spans 174,000 square feet and provides 43MW of power, while HOU4 covers 173,000 square feet and contributes 48MW. Both facilities are equipped with air-cooled chillers and closed-loop water systems for energy-efficient cooling. Redundancy is built into every layer, from N+1 and N+2 cooling configurations to 68 diesel generators and multiple UPS systems with battery backup.

Security and compliance are core to the design, with perimeter fencing, biometric access, 24/7 surveillance, and advanced fire detection via VESDA and double interlocked preaction systems. Sustainability is also a focus—HOU3 has earned a Green Globe rating of 3 Globes, while HOU4 holds 2 Globes.
