Big Digital Energy, Inc. is developing a significant data center campus in Hood County, Texas, located outside the Dallas-Fort Worth market. This 50-acre site, acquired through a 50:50 joint venture with energy-infrastructure company 10NetZero, is intended to serve artificial intelligence (AI) tenants.
The campus will repurpose over 30,000 square feet of existing structures. The site currently has 17MW of operational power, with plans to upgrade to 111MW of grid power. Additionally, there is an option to incorporate behind-the-meter natural gas power, potentially expanding the total capacity to 311MW. This strategic development aims to provide AI customers with substantial capacity ahead of typical greenfield projects, combining Big Digital's powered land expertise with 10NetZero's energy-infrastructure capabilities.
