Hut 8 Beacon Point

Hut 8's Beacon Point campus, located on a 525-acre site near Corpus Christi, Texas, has secured a significant 15-year lease with a high-investment-grade tenant. This agreement, valued at $9.8 billion, will see the tenant deploy dedicated compute infrastructure to support AI training and inference. The campus has an executed interconnection agreement for 1GW of utility capacity, with initial energization anticipated in Q1 2027 and preliminary data hall delivery expected in Q3 2027. The contract includes three five-year renewal options, potentially extending the total contract value to approximately $25.1 billion. This deal brings Hut 8's total contracted data center capacity to 597MW of IT capacity.
