Hummelstown Quarry Campus - Building 1

The Hummelstown Quarry Campus, located in South Hanover Township, Pennsylvania, is a proposed data center development by HCI DP Land Acquisition LLC. Situated on a 250-acre plot on Wagner Street, the site was formerly a quarry and is part of the township's industrial park.

The project plans include the construction of two single-story data center buildings, with floor areas of 401,800 sq ft (37,330 sqm) and 195,000 sq ft (18,165 sqm). Additionally, an electricity substation is planned for the site. A separate request has been submitted to develop an adjacent parcel, not currently zoned for industrial use, into another data center.

This data center proposal represents a shift from a previous plan to develop warehouses on the same land. The development has generated concerns among local residents regarding zoning regulations, as South Hanover Township is in the process of finalizing rules for data center development.
