Meta is constructing its newest AI-optimized data center in Catoosa, Oklahoma, marking its first facility in the state and its 32nd globally. This facility is designed to support Meta's AI workloads, contributing to the advancement of its technologies. The project represents a significant investment of over $1 billion in the Tulsa region.

Meta is committed to water stewardship and aims to be water positive by 2030, implementing projects to restore water to local watersheds. Furthermore, Meta will cover the full costs of the data center's energy use and is adding over 1,500 megawatts of clean energy to the Oklahoma grid, ensuring its electricity consumption is matched with 100% clean energy.
