Form8tion Urbana

Form8tion Urbana is a planned 460,000 sq ft data center campus located near Urbana, Ohio, at the intersection of State Route 55 and US Route 68. Developed by Thor Equities through its Form8tion unit, the project represents a significant investment of approximately $1 billion. The single-story facility is expected to be around 40 feet tall and will utilize closed-loop cooling systems. Thor Equities states the data center will not impact local utility rates, as the end-user will cover all necessary grid and transmission upgrades. The identity of the end-user has not been disclosed. The project is anticipated to generate around $6 million in tax revenue for the City of Urbana and its schools. Thor Equities, founded in 1986, traditionally focused on retail, residential, and industrial properties before expanding into data center development.
