LM Funding America, Inc. has acquired an 11 MW Bitcoin mining facility located at 249 Datco Industrial Dr in Columbus, Mississippi. The acquisition, which includes the site and approximately 7.5 MW of operational hashrate from around 2,300 Bitmain S19 series miners, was completed for $4.0 million. The facility benefits from attractive power pricing of approximately $0.036/kWh. This acquisition is expected to increase LM Funding's total owned Bitcoin mining capacity to 26 MW. The company plans to utilize the remaining capacity by deploying existing and new cost-effective miners, alongside firmware optimizations. The acquisition was partially funded by a $1.3 million secured loan, with the remainder from existing liquid assets.
