HydraVault is a purpose-built data center located in Chicago, engineered specifically for high-performance computing environments such as AI model training, inferencing, and latency-sensitive financial workloads. The facility is optimized for density, reliability, and speed, with advanced cooling and power resilience integrated throughout.
The center delivers up to 20MW of supply power, supporting rack densities as high as 200kW. Cooling is handled through hybrid systems, including direct-to-chip liquid cooling, rear-door heat exchangers, and customer CDU support, all enhanced by row-level thermal optimization and hot/cold aisle containment.
Power infrastructure includes redundant substations, automatic transfer switches, and power block redundancy with catcher systems, ensuring concurrent maintainability across all critical systems. Real-time environmental and power monitoring is standard.
Connectivity is a standout feature, offering sub-millisecond latency to 350 E. Cermak, one of the world’s densest interconnect hubs, and high-speed fiber access via multiple Tier 1 carriers. The network architecture is built to financial-grade standards, supporting real-time execution and market data feeds.
Security is multi-layered, with 24/7 staffed perimeter defense, biometric scanners, mantraps, and secure cage or vault deployment options. The facility also supports compliance with SOC 1/2, PCI, and ISO standards, and offers services like IT asset lifecycle management and secure data destruction.
HydraVault clients may qualify for up to 20 years of tax exemptions under the Illinois Data Centers Investment Program, significantly reducing infrastructure costs.
