A Fortune 100 company is planning to develop a 300,000-square-foot data center in Conway, Arkansas, under the name ForgeLight Ventures. The facility will be located along Lollie Road, near Conway Municipal Airport, and represents the largest capital investment in the city's history, with an estimated cost of $1 billion. The project includes ancillary support buildings and may expand further in future phases.
The data center is expected to create around 50 new jobs and will benefit from a 65 percent tax abatement for 30 years. For cooling, the facility might use treated water from the Tupelo Bayou Wastewater Treatment Plant, although this detail is not yet confirmed. The development is still in its early stages, with discussions between local officials and the company ongoing.
