Kao Data’s KLON-08 is the second of two new data centers planned for its Harlow campus in Essex, UK. Smaller in footprint than KLON-07, KLON-08 will span approximately 11,655 square meters (125,455 sq ft), designed to complement the campus’s growing capacity for AI, HPC, and enterprise workloads.
The facility will be built to Kao Data’s high-efficiency standards, with a focus on modular scalability and sustainability. Like its counterparts, KLON-08 will operate on 100% renewable energy and is expected to maintain a low PUE target, supporting dense compute environments with robust cooling and power infrastructure.
KLON-08 reinforces Kao Data’s strategic expansion, enhancing its ability to serve hyperscale and research clients across the London-Cambridge corridor. The site benefits from strong fiber connectivity and proximity to major innovation hubs.
