Türksat, Turkey’s national satellite operator, is developing the 21MW Gölbaşı Data Center outside Ankara. Spanning 28,500 square meters, the facility will include six system halls, two high-performance rooms, and 6,000 sqm of white space, with construction set to begin in 2025 for a 2027 launch.
The project will triple Türksat’s current data center capacity in its first phase and expand more than eightfold in the second, positioning it among the largest in Turkey. Backed by the Turkish sovereign wealth fund, Türksat also operates six satellites and provides IT, ISP, and TV services through its subsidiaries.
