SahilNET Ankara

The Turkish Coast Guard Command has opened its SahilNET Ankara data center, located at its headquarters in Çankaya, Ankara, Turkey. This facility represents the first phase of the SahilNET networking project, a collaboration between the Turkish Coast Guard and Havelsan, signed in September 2021. The project aims to establish a network of data centers and server rooms to support the Coast Guard's operations and digital transformation. The headquarters data center is considered vital for addressing the Command's growing technological requirements and enhancing operational effectiveness. Havelsan, a provider of high-tech, software-intensive solutions, partnered in the project's completion. Further data centers are planned for provincial units outside of the headquarters.
