Box2bit AXIS East

Box2bit AXIS East is a large-scale data center campus under development in Torija, Guadalajara, Spain. Spanning over 200,000 square meters, it forms one half of Box2bit’s flagship Axis project, which includes a sister campus, AXIS South, in Recas, Toledo. This initiative aims to establish a cutting-edge digital hub in central Spain, leveraging the strategic location and infrastructure readiness of the region.

The project is backed by Capital Energy and reflects Box2bit’s deep commitment to sustainability, with all facilities powered entirely by renewable energy. As part of this vision, the company plans to deploy nearby wind and solar farms to supply clean energy directly to the data center campuses. The development also includes an on-site electrical substation and advanced energy management systems to maximize efficiency and resiliency.

AXIS East is expected to generate significant local economic impact, creating jobs during both the construction and operational phases. It is part of a broader investment exceeding €3 billion through 2027 and has received institutional support from the regional government. Together with AXIS South, this project positions Box2bit as a major player in Europe’s next generation of sustainable infrastructure.
