The KT Ansan IDC, located in the Banwol National Industrial Complex in Ansan-si, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, is a new AI data center developed by KT Cloud. This facility boasts a power supply capacity of 50MW and an IT load capacity of 32MW, designed with next-generation technology and optimized infrastructure for high-density AI servers. The building will span 2 basement and 9 above-ground floors, with a total floor area of approximately 36,879㎡. Construction began in October 2026 and is expected to take around 38 months, with the data center slated to go live in 2029. This project is a key component of KT's broader strategy to deploy up to 1GW of AI data center capacity by 2031, aiming to provide stable and efficient AI infrastructure to meet diverse customer needs.
