CPT2 Cape Town Data Centre

Africa Data Centres is constructing CPT2, its second hyperscale data center in Cape Town, South Africa. Located in the north of the city, this facility will offer 20MW of IT load and 12,000 square meters of white space. Construction is underway with an expected completion by mid-2024.

CPT2 is part of Africa Data Centres' significant investment in the Western Cape and broader African expansion. The facility is designed to meet growing demand for data center services in the region, which is a key IT and software hub. It will provide customers with increased capacity, geographic redundancy from the company's existing Cape Town facility, and a choice of world-class, scalable, flexible, and energy-efficient solutions. The data center utilizes Africa Data Centres' new standard modular design, ensuring rapid scalability and a consistent global standard.
