DriverAI LLC is advancing plans for an 80 MW Quantum AI Data Center in Luna, Cluj County, Romania. This facility, developed in partnership with Leviatan Group and with power infrastructure managed by E-INFRA, is designed to be Romania’s first integrated Quantum AI Data Center. It will combine high-density GPU compute infrastructure with quantum computing hardware, built in four phased stages of 20 MW each. The project aims for 100% renewable energy by the completion of its final phase. Strategically located near Cluj-Napoca, a major university hub, the data center is poised to become an anchor institution for Romania’s emerging AI research ecosystem, providing academic access to advanced computing resources. DriverAI is also engaging the Romanian Government for the project’s designation as a Strategic Investment, highlighting its significance for bilateral cooperation between Romania and the United States.
