NAV Communications operates its own TIA-942 Tier III data center in northern Bucharest, Romania, delivering carrier-grade colocation for servers and networking equipment.
The facility runs on a fully redundant (2N) Cisco network with an SLA-guaranteed uptime of 99.99%. Connectivity comes from stable interconnects with major national and international carriers, with peering capacity exceeding 140 Gbps (AS6718) — including NAV's own peering across Romania, Hungary, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK.
Power is secured by dual three-phase feeds, APC Schneider UPS and a diesel generator with online refueling; cooling uses N+1 redundant Daikin industrial units. Security includes biometric + PIN access control, 24/7 on-site staff, CCTV, anti-seismic rack mounting and automatic fire detection and suppression.
