NAV Communications operates its own TIA-942 Tier III data center in the northern part of Bucharest, Romania. Built on a fully redundant (2N) Cisco network with an SLA-guaranteed uptime of at least 99.99%, the facility delivers carrier-grade colocation for servers and networking equipment.
Connectivity is provided through stable interconnects with major national and international carriers, with peering capacity exceeding 140 Gbps (AS6718), including NAV's own peering across Romania, Hungary, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
The data center is ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified and protected by the in-house navAMS DDoS mitigation platform (up to 140 Gbps / 20 Mpps). Power redundancy is ensured by dual three-phase feeds, APC Schneider UPS systems and a diesel generator with online refueling; cooling uses N+1 redundant Daikin industrial units; security includes biometric + PIN access control, 24/7 on-site staff, CCTV, anti-seismic rack mounting and automatic fire detection and suppression.
