EDCWAW02 is a purpose-built data center developed by EdgeConneX in Warsaw, Poland. It features a robust N+1 power architecture with an initial capacity of 12.3 MW and is scalable up to 31.5 MW, making it one of the largest and most expandable facilities in the region. Located less than one kilometer from Warsaw’s core colocation hub and just 7.5 km from Chopin Airport, the site offers strategic proximity to key connectivity and transportation nodes.
The facility is designed to Tier III standards, equipped with redundant power and cooling systems to maintain high availability and operational efficiency. Its infrastructure includes raised floor plenum cooling, N+1 CRAC configurations, and rigorous climate control. Security is enforced with multi-stage containment, biometric access, 24/7 surveillance, and on-site personnel. EDCWAW02 is compliant with ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 3, and PCI DSS standards.
Connectivity at EDCWAW02 is carrier-neutral, offering interconnection with multiple Tier 1 and regional network service providers including Arelion, Orange Poland, Megaport, and T-Mobile PL. It supports a wide range of deployments, from individual racks to full build-to-suit data halls, and enables direct access to major cloud service providers through its hybrid cloud ecosystem.
