T1 Energy Mo i Rana is a significant data center development located in Mo i Rana, Norway. The 926,000-square-foot industrial building has been allocated 50MW of grid power by Statnett, Norway's national grid operator. This capacity is designated for advancing discussions with potential customers and financial investors for long-term strategic development, particularly for European AI infrastructure. The site is also in the interconnection queue for an additional 396MW. The 50MW N-0 power assignment requires UPS and step-down transformer infrastructure, with the temporary power allotment extending through the end of 2033. Previously intended for battery cell manufacturing, the site is now being repurposed as a data center or AI infrastructure hub, leveraging the region's abundant low-cost power and industrial heritage.
