GFA Data Centers (GDC) is a demand-driven sovereign digital infrastructure company headquartered in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. The company is developing resilient, carrier-neutral infrastructure for organisations that require secure Nigerian data residency, managed infrastructure and geographic diversification outside Lagos.
GDC serves government institutions, financial services organisations, healthcare providers and enterprises through colocation, managed infrastructure, disaster recovery, business continuity, connectivity support and compliance-focused hosting. The platform is designed around institutional workloads and the growing requirement for locally hosted, auditable and resilient digital infrastructure.
GDC's differentiated model is demand-driven. Through the broader GFA ecosystem, sector digitalisation programmes originate external institutional demand. As hospitals, government entities, local governments and enterprises digitise workflows and deploy new platforms, they create recurring requirements for compute, storage, hosting, resilience and managed infrastructure. GDC converts this identifiable demand into phased infrastructure consumption.
Commercial operations commenced in March 2026. GDC's current platform is 0.5MW, with planned expansion toward 2MW by 2027 and 5MW by 2028, subject to capital deployment and project execution. From Abeokuta, GDC is positioned to support Nigeria's data-sovereignty, disaster-recovery and digital-infrastructure requirements while building a scalable Southwest Nigeria infrastructure hub.
