GDC - Yokohama 1 Data Center

The Yokohama 1 Data Center is a resilient, high-standard facility located in the suburbs of Yokohama City, offering a secure and scalable environment for enterprise IT infrastructure. Comprising three buildings completed between 2003 and 2009, the campus provides approximately 11,600 square meters of server space and supports up to 5,600 racks. Built with steel-reinforced concrete and advanced seismic isolation systems, the site is engineered to withstand mega earthquakes, reducing seismic shock by over 70%. It features extra-high voltage loop power reception at 66,000V, gas turbine generators with over 48 hours of runtime, and N+1 redundant UPS and air-cooled systems. The colocation rooms include raised floors with a 600 mm height and a floor load capacity of 1,000 kg/m². Security is ensured through biometric authentication, IC card access, CCTV monitoring, and independent rack keys. With 24/7 access, on-site staff, and support for NTT DATA’s Flexible InterConnect platform, Yokohama 1 delivers robust connectivity, operational continuity, and customizable solutions for mission-critical deployments.
