Digital Realty's NRT14, located in Inzai, Japan, is a 31MW data center facility that broke ground in May 2024 and is slated for opening in December 2025. Developed by MC Digital Realty, a joint venture with Mitsubishi Corporation, this facility is designed to support private AI deployments with densities up to 70kW per rack, utilizing air-assisted liquid cooling. NRT14 is notable for being one of the first facilities in Japan to achieve NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center certification, enabling it to host NVIDIA DGX GB200 infrastructure and similar systems powered by the NVIDIA Grace Blackwell architecture. This certification confirms the data center's capability to handle high-density AI workloads exceeding 100 kW per rack, offering enhanced performance and energy efficiency through liquid cooling. The NRT campus in Inzai now has a total capacity of 104MW, with NRT14 expanding Digital Realty's AI-ready infrastructure in the Asia Pacific region and reinforcing its commitment to providing scalable, flexible, and highly connected data center solutions for the growing demand for AI deployments in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
