The Taiwan Internet Exchange (TWIX) is a prominent Internet Exchange Point (IXP) in Taiwan, designed to enhance the operational efficiency of the internet. Established in November 1986, TWIX provides a platform for domestic and international internet and content service providers to exchange traffic in a cost-effective manner. The system architecture consists of Ethernet switches and Route Reflectors, offering GE/10GE interfaces for peering connections and public peering routes between members.

TWIX is known for its stable infrastructure, fast supply and installation services, and well-equipped monitoring center. It caters to telecommunications operators, internet content providers, and academic or experimental research networks approved by the Ministry of Communications.
