PhillyIX - Philadelphia Internet Exchange

PhillyIX, or the Philadelphia Internet Exchange, is a neutral, non-profit Internet Exchange Point (IXP) based in the Philadelphia, PA metro area. It serves as a focal point for bandwidth and network capacity, allowing participating entities to interconnect or "peer" with one another. This improves network performance, increases resiliency, and reduces operational costs. PhillyIX currently has points of presence (PoPs) at Netrality MMR and Equinix PH1, located in Philadelphia. The exchange is committed to enhancing the quality and availability of the internet in and around the Philadelphia metro area.
