This helps improve the speed and efficiency of internet services in Grenada.

The GREX was officially opened by the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC) on November 21, 2012, at their headquarters on Maurice Bishop Highway, St. George. The facility also includes an L-Root DNS Server, which enhances the reliability and performance of internet services in the region.
