FogIXP is a distributed Internet Exchange Point (IXP) operated by iFog GmbH. It connects multiple Points of Presence (PoPs) over a Layer 2 Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS), Waves, and Dark Fiber (DF). Initially built as a Peering LAN for customers, FogIXP has expanded to welcome everyone. It offers free 1/10GbE ports and provides 40G ports for a small setup fee. FogIXP is available in various locations, including Zurich, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, and Vienna.
