B-IX - Balkan Internet Exchange

Balkan-IX is a neutral, independent Internet Exchange (IX) enterprise based in Sofia, Bulgaria. It promotes and advocates an open peering policy, allowing telecom operators, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), content providers, and other enterprises to exchange Internet traffic efficiently. With an established infrastructure, Balkan-IX enables customers to connect using 1GE, 10GE, or aggregated ports to exchange IP traffic with other participants through direct sessions or public route servers (RS). The company offers a range of services, including local and European peering, carrier services, IPTV support, and DDoS mitigation.
