NTT DATA's Chennai 2A is a new data center facility located in Ambattur, Chennai, India. Situated 9km from the existing Chennai 1 Data Center, the Chennai 2 campus features two 9-storey buildings. Chennai 2A, operational in April 2023, is designed to provide a maximum IT load of 17.4MW. The facility emphasizes high availability through redundant power and cooling systems, alongside comprehensive client facilities and extensive security measures. As part of NTT DATA's leading data center platform in India, Chennai 2A benefits from interconnected data centers, global connectivity via a subsea cable, and cloud connect options for virtualized workloads, ensuring a secure and high-availability environment for IT and network systems.
