The AdaniConneX Chennai Campus, located in Siruseri, India, is a significant data center facility with a planned IT capacity of 33 MW. The campus is designed for seismic zone 3 and features steel construction for enhanced safety and speed. It comprises G+6 buildings with a total built-up area of 400,000 SqFt, developed in two phases. Phase 1 includes Building 1 with 210,000 SqFt. The facility boasts a floor height of 6 meters, adaptable for raised or slab floors, with a floor loading capacity of 1900 kg/m2 for server areas. Power infrastructure includes a 50MVA 110KV GIS SS with dual utility sources, N+N redundant UPS for IT load (17MW in B1 and 16MW in B2), N+2 electrical redundancy, and 100% DG backup with 48 hours of fuel storage. Cooling is managed by a centralized plant with rooftop air-cooled chillers (N+1) and adiabatic cooling options, featuring a fault-tolerant design and 7 minutes of thermal storage. The campus offers carrier neutrality with major telcos present and 3 diverse fiber paths, supported by 3 subsea cable landing stations within 30 km. It is TIA 942B compliant and designed for IGBC LEED Gold standards, targeting an annualized PUE of 1.5.
