DATA4 Frankfurt FRA01-DC3

DATA4 Frankfurt is a new, sustainable, and innovative data center campus located in Hanau, Germany, approximately 30 minutes from Frankfurt. The campus spans 25 hectares and has reserves for 180 MW of electricity. It is designed to be powered by 100% renewable energy. The development includes the construction of at least eight data center modules, with a planned building area of around 200,000 sqm. Data4 plans to invest €1 billion in the development. Demolition and construction preparations are underway, with the first module expected to be commissioned in 2024 and full development anticipated by 2032. The site will feature a ten-hectare photovoltaic system and a combined heat and power plant. Discussions are also in progress to utilize waste heat from the campus for local heating.
