Evecon Lihula

Evecon Lihula is a proposed data center project located in Alaküla, Estonia, with a planned electricity consumption of up to 100 MW. The project, initiated by Evecon Lihula OÜ, encompasses a planning area of 19.6 ha and anticipates the construction of up to 6 data center buildings, alongside 6 cooling facilities and 6 auxiliary buildings. A significant aspect of the proposal is the inclusion of a 330 kV substation, highlighting robust electrical infrastructure plans. Detailed planning commenced on July 8, 2026. The location's strategic advantage is underscored by Evecon's existing involvement in the Lääneranna area, including association with the Kirikmäe solar park and a 55 MW / 250 MWh battery storage project. The region's transmission capacity and proximity to renewable generation are key factors for this energy-intensive facility. While waste heat reuse is being explored, no final cooling design or heat-reuse agreement has been reported.
