The Varde Innovation Campus, also known as Varde Park, is a significant data center development located in Varde, Denmark. Situated near the Endrup-Idomlund 400 kV transmission line and recent subsea cable landings, the campus is strategically positioned for robust connectivity and power. The project, managed by Varde Park ApS and owned by Spectra DC Holding, is slated for phased construction with an anticipated operational start by 2032, potentially earlier depending on energy supply agreements with Energinet. The campus is designed to accommodate a substantial footprint, with plans for 12 data center buildings and additional operational facilities across its northern and southern sections. Upon full completion, it is expected to create between 200 and 350 jobs.
