JN Data’s data center was significantly expanded in 2017 to meet the evolving demands of Denmark’s financial sector. The facility now includes 1,200 square meters equipped with advanced technology designed for scalability, performance, and high availability. The center supports a wide array of backend operations critical to banking and financial services, with an emphasis on fast response times and secure infrastructure.

Energy efficiency and environmental responsibility are central to the data center’s design. JN Data employs in-row cooling and standardized modular units to optimize power usage. The facility also leverages free cooling systems instead of traditional chiller-based methods, reducing overall energy consumption. Every aspect of the data center incorporates modern infrastructure solutions aimed at long-term cost reductions through software-defined architecture.

A standout feature of the data center is its integration with Silkeborg Forsyning’s district heating network. Surplus heat generated by the facility is redirected to cover the annual heating needs of roughly 420 households. This partnership not only enhances sustainability but also minimizes the data center's cooling requirements, creating an efficient loop of energy reuse.
