The data centre has multiple unique carrier points of presence (PoPs) in the Cologix-controlled Meet-Me-Room (MMR) and is home to the primary node for VANIX. The network neutral facility is also connected to the carrier hotel at 555 West Hastings by a low latency, controlled diverse path, dark fibre ring. As such, carriers can seamlessly extend their networks and customers have active or passive connectivity to 20+ unique carriers.

The data centre is designed to N+1, Tier III standards for concurrent maintainability, featuring cutting edge technologies including hot aisle containment and innovative "free cooling" solutions. The site is fully optimized with hyper-effective cooling, utility power and emergency generator power systems to ensure a reliable and redundant infrastructure. The UPS is also designed to support A+B configurations with multiple generators for backup.

Certified & Secure

The Cologix data centre is manned 24/7 by security guards as well as a tailgate-proof mantrap, S2 keycard, biometric, and closed-circuit TV (CCTV) systems. The data centre is SSAE 16 SOC1 audited, with support to gain PCI compliance on an individual basis.

Dynamic Customer Support

As a differentiated local service model, all customers have direct and 24/7 access to seasoned local engineers and support teams, in addition to a web-based portal for online technical support ticket submissions. Local Cologix technicians also leverage the Cologix Command data centre infrastructure management (DCIM) platform to continually monitor service to ensure business continuity, alerting customers with options when nearing capacity.
